Hiv ngo in the UK

FINAL SET OF STIGMA AND RESILIENCE WORKSHOPS IN NOVEMBER

We’re delivering our final set of workshops for the Overcoming Stigma and Building Resilience project. The workshops are delivered online via Zoom and open to anyone living with HIV in the UK.

The workshops have been co-designed by peers living with HIV, and are delivered by three fantastic facilitators, all living with HIV from different backgrounds. Over the three sets of workshops delivered so far, we’ve seen the powerful impact of telling diverse stories to help understand ourselves and each other.

The free and confidential online workshops can help people living with HIV to build confidence to tackle stigma – whatever stigma means to them – over the course of three sessions.

Whether someone has been living with HIV for a number of years, or are more recently diagnosed, the workshops support attendees to build a toolkit to understand and address HIV stigma, build confidence and self-esteem, and build resilience for the future.

The dates of our next sessions are:

  • Wednesday 3 November
  • Wednesday 10 November
  • Wednesday 17 November

All sessions start at 6pm, and finish around 7:45pm. Spaces are limited, so I would urge anyone interested to sign up without delay, as we have an overwhelming response all year.
