A community‑based charity reducing health inequalities and strengthening communities across London.
The Ernest Foundation is a community‑based charity dedicated to improving the health, wellbeing, and resilience of underserved communities across London. Since our founding in 2006, we have worked to empower individuals and families facing poverty, social isolation, health inequalities, and limited access to services.
We support vulnerable groups including older adults, individuals living with long‑term conditions, people experiencing mental health challenges, and culturally diverse communities. Many people experience barriers due to stigma, cultural differences, language barriers, or lack of trust in institutions. We work to break down these barriers by creating supportive and inclusive spaces where people feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Through our programmes we support individuals to improve their wellbeing, strengthen their resilience, and connect with the services and opportunities they need.
Reduce health inequalities and strengthen communities by providing person‑centred support that removes barriers and restores choice.
A community where everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling life regardless of background or circumstances.
Compassion, inclusion, empowerment, trust, collaboration, and respect for the dignity and agency of every person we serve.

Leads health outreach and provides medical expertise.
Manages partnerships and works directly with community groups.
