The eFoundation and the Health Protection Agency are conducting a pilot study to estimate the prevalence of hepatitis C virus in African communities living in London. We need a target of 500 individuals (fitting the criteria) to either: Take part in a 30 minute clinic study (in private) with travel expenses paid to and from the clinic

or

Take a quick swab test at the forthcoming community gatherings, to be organised shortly in your local area To be eligible to help you can be either male or female, but you must:

1 be of Ghanaian or Nigerian decent 2 have lived in Ghana/Nigeria for at least 1 Year 3 be aged 16+

The eFoundation is a registered charity under the Data Protection Act and treats all information with the strictest of confidence. They provide advice, support and distribute free condoms, working with doctors to encourage people to seek early treatment.
